Authorizes the St. Tammany Parish Development District to use "St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation" or similar trade name and designates it as a local governing authority for purposes of state appropriations

Changes board officer titles from "president" and "vice president" to "chair" and "vice chair," and renames the "executive director" position to "president and chief executive officer"

Expands the nominating committee composition to include the treasurer, the St. Tammany Parish Council chairman or designee, and a council member selected by the council chairman, with term limits of two consecutive years for certain committee members

Modifies board meeting requirements from mandatory monthly meetings to attempting monthly meetings with a minimum of nine meetings per calendar year

Broadens the ethics exception to allow board commissioners who serve as officers, directors, or employees of any nonprofit corporation focused on parish or regional economic development (not just the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation) to participate and vote on related matters
