Removes the exemption that prevented unemployment benefits paid under Hurricane Katrina-related Executive Orders (KBB2005-34, KBB2005-46, and KBB2005-76) from being charged to employers' experience-rating records

Extends the deadline for employers to file notice of separation with the administrator and the separated employee from 3 days to 10 days after separation occurs

Adds electronic transmission as an acceptable method for employers to send separation notices, alongside mailing and delivery

Amends R.S. 23:1541(A) and 1576 governing unemployment compensation procedures

Effective August 1, 2025
