Louisiana Department of Health must reimburse Medicaid providers for mental health partial hospitalization program services provided at licensed freestanding inpatient psychiatric hospitals at 100% of Medicare rates

Implementation requires approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

Funding contingent on either legislative appropriation or the LDH secretary notifying the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget that available funds exist within the department's current budget

Effective date: July 1, 2025
