Acknowledges that over 30% of Louisiana grandfamilies live at or below the poverty line, and more than 75% fall below the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) threshold

Notes the organization operates with no paid staff and a three-member volunteer board, providing support groups, emergency assistance, legal consultation, and educational workshops

Directs a copy of the resolution be transmitted to the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Information Center of Louisiana
