Designates Tuesday, May 6, 2025, as Main Street Day at the Louisiana State Capitol to recognize Louisiana Main Street's downtown revitalization efforts

Louisiana Main Street has operated since 1984 and currently includes 37 designated communities across the state, plus 5 districts in New Orleans

Program generated $113 in new downtown investment for every $1 invested in Fiscal Year 2023-2024

Over 41 years, the program has produced 16,809 new jobs, 3,974 new businesses, $573 million in private investment, $459 million in public investment, and 1.3 million volunteer hours

Resolution directs a copy be transmitted to the assistant secretary of the office of cultural development and the lieutenant governor
