Glenn Dale Murray Jr. of Baton Rouge was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame on August 26, 2024

Murray began his professional music career in high school in the early 1960s as a guitarist with bands including The Barons, The Mersey Sounds, The Factory, and Delta Freight, touring extensively across the Gulf South and western Canada

He transitioned into songwriting, publishing, and producing, including session work at RCA Studios in Nashville and a 1981 album with the band LeRoux

After a decades-long hiatus to raise his family while working at a welding supply company, Murray returned to music in retirement, co-producing the 2022 album "Run To Daylight" which reached number one on the Roots Music Report's Soul and Blues chart
