Louisiana Legislature commends Danny Granger, born April 20, 1983, in New Orleans and Grace King High School graduate, on his 2025 induction into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

Granger was selected 17th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers and played 10 NBA seasons with the Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Miami Heat, appearing in 586 games with career averages of 16.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

Named a starter in the 2009 NBA All-Star Game during his peak years (2008-2012), when he averaged 21.6 points and 5.4 rebounds over 350 games, with his best season in 2008-2009 averaging 25.8 points per game.

Won a gold medal as a member of the U.S. national team at the 2010 FIBA World Championships.
