Creates a 15-member Public Projects Task Force to study the Louisiana Public Works Act (R.S. 38:2241) and evaluate state and local public works policies, contracts, and project delivery procedures

Task force will review public bid law contract limits, infrastructure project delivery timelines, contract approval procedures, and hear testimony from public works directors in St. Tammany, Jefferson, East Baton Rouge, and Ascension parishes, as well as New Orleans and Shreveport officials

Membership includes legislative committee chairs, representatives from contractor and construction industry associations (AGC, concrete, asphalt, subcontractors, architects, engineers), surety association, Police Jury Association, Municipal Association, DOTD secretary, and Office of Facility Planning and Control director

First meeting must be convened by September 1, 2025, with at least two meetings required before December 15, 2025; task force terminates upon report submission or January 31, 2027, whichever comes first

Members serve without compensation; task force must submit written findings and legislative recommendations to Senate Finance Committee, House Appropriations Committee, and Joint Legislative Committee for Transportation, Highways and Public Works
