Expresses the Louisiana Legislature's condolences upon the death of retired Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Harry T. Lemmon, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at age 94

Justice Lemmon served 21 years on the Louisiana Supreme Court (May 16, 1980 to May 16, 2001) after beginning his judicial career on the Court of Appeal, Fourth Circuit in 1970

Recognizes his extensive legal education contributions, including pro bono teaching at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and Tulane University Law School

Acknowledges his leadership roles including Chair of the Louisiana Judicial College Board of Governors for two decades and co-author of the Louisiana Civil Law Treatise on Civil Procedure

Directs that a copy of the resolution be transmitted to his wife, U.S. District Judge Mary Ann Vial Lemmon
