Creates the Task Force on Fatherhood Engagement to research best practices and develop recommendations for state agencies to promote father involvement in children's lives, with a final report due by February 28, 2026

Consists of 13 members including representatives from the governor's office, Louisiana Children's Cabinet, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Education, Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Department of Health, and fatherhood-focused nonprofits

Task force must convene by August 31, 2025, submit a draft report by January 31, 2026, and terminates upon report submission or February 28, 2026

Duties include researching workforce development programs for fathers, parenting education, conflict resolution training, and identifying funding sources for fatherhood programs

Louisiana ranks 49th in out-of-wedlock births, 49th in father engagement in child welfare case planning, 45th for working dads, and has the highest male incarceration rate nationally
