Designates Tuesday, May 20, 2025, as Early Ed Day at the Louisiana State Capitol

Commends the Ready Louisiana Coalition, a bipartisan organization formed in 2018 with over 180 member businesses, chambers, advocacy organizations, and early childhood education professionals

Recognizes that 90% of brain development occurs between birth and age four, establishing the foundation for future learning, health, and social behaviors

Notes that Louisiana families can spend as much on child care as in-state college tuition, and that lack of affordable early childhood education disproportionately impacts children of color and those in poverty

Directs a copy of the resolution be transmitted to Sadie Becnel, Government Affairs Director and General Counsel for the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children
