Municipal fire departments, fire protection districts, and volunteer fire departments must obtain their fire department identification (FDID) numbers from the National Emergency Response Information System instead of from the state fire marshal

Expands reporting requirements from structural fire reports only to reports of all incidents

Reports must continue to be submitted electronically according to standards set by the state fire marshal

Amends R.S. 40:1567(A)(1)(a) and (B)
