Defines "Maximum Medical Improvement" (MMI) as when an employee's condition is unlikely to improve substantially with or without medical treatment, and clarifies that ongoing treatment for chronic pain management does not prevent an MMI finding

Reduces the maximum duration of supplemental earnings benefits from 520 weeks to 416 weeks

Caps temporary total disability benefits at a maximum of 156 weeks, with benefits ending when the employee reaches MMI

Terminates all income benefits when the employee reaches age 75 or 5 years after injury/last exposure (whichever is later), and death benefits when the employee would have reached age 70 or 4 years after injury/last exposure (whichever is later)

Redefines vocational rehabilitation goal as returning workers to "suitable gainful employment" (positions within physical restrictions and available in the employee's geographic area) rather than simply returning them to "work"
