Department of Insurance must issue an annual insurance market accountability report by March 1st each year, covering the preceding calendar year

Report must include average homeowners' and auto insurance premium changes by parish, claims filed/paid/denied by parish, loss ratios and profitability by insurance line, market entries and exits by insurers, and non-renewal and cancellation rates

Report must be submitted annually to House and Senate committees on insurance and published on the department's website in an accessible format

Department will collect data using existing regulatory authority and data calls; first report due within one year of enactment

Effective upon governor's signature or lapse of time for gubernatorial action
