Mandates operators certify to the Secretary of the Department of Conservation and Energy at least every 12 months that all contact information on signs and line markers statewide is current and the telephone number is active and answered at all times

Certification must be submitted via certified mail to the secretary

Prohibits the secretary from granting waivers of these requirements under the existing waiver process in R.S. 30:704

Violations subject operators to penalties under R.S. 30:705, in addition to any damages attributable to non-compliance
