Legislators may receive per diem compensation (at GSA rates for Baton Rouge) for up to 10 additional days per month when engaged in official legislative business outside of session attendance

Legislators may receive mileage reimbursement for up to 10 days per month during interim periods for official legislative activities, requiring voucher approval from presiding officers
