Historical statues or monuments owned by public entities that are removed from public display must be transferred to the Office of State Parks, including all rights of custody and control

The original public entity is responsible for coordinating and completing delivery of the statue or monument to the Office of State Parks

The Office of State Parks must designate and maintain a location within the state park system for displaying transferred monuments, with consideration for preservation and public access

Interpretive signage or materials must accompany each monument presenting accurate historical context, including information about the subject commemorated and circumstances of original placement and removal

The Office of State Parks may promulgate rules under the Administrative Procedure Act to implement the law
