Authorizes the governing authority of Sabine Parish to call and conduct a local option election on whether to permit sports wagering operations within the parish

Election must be held more than 45 days but not more than 6 months after the ordinance or resolution calling the election is adopted

If a majority of voters approve, sports wagering may be conducted in Sabine Parish under existing state law (Chapter 10 of Title 27); if rejected, no sports wagering shall be permitted

Sabine Parish governing authority must notify the Louisiana Gaming Control Board of the election results and bear all election costs

The election may only take place once under this authorization
