Exempts former official court reporters from the existing two-year waiting period that prohibits former public employees from being rehired by governmental entities after leaving public service

Allows retired court reporters from judicial district courts or city courts to be hired on a contractual basis or reemployed with the same court or jurisdiction immediately after retirement or departure

Adds new subsection R.S. 42:1121(K) to Louisiana's ethics code governing post-employment restrictions

Applies specifically to official court reporters, not to other categories of public employees who remain subject to the two-year prohibition
