Exempts charitable pharmacies from the $0.10 per outpatient prescription fee that the Louisiana Department of Health imposes on pharmacies participating in the Medicaid program

Defines "charitable pharmacy" as a pharmacy where prescriptions are dispensed by a charitable organization free of charge to appropriately screened and qualified patients

Amends R.S. 46:2625(A)(1) and adds R.S. 46:2622(19) to Louisiana law

Current law authorizes LDH to impose fees on nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities, pharmacies, dispensing physicians, and medical transportation providers for Medicaid healthcare services
