Enacts Civil Code Article 2317.2 establishing a duty of reasonable care for anyone who designs, develops, licenses, manufactures, or sells computer programs or software

Applies specifically to software that provides interactive or personalized user experiences based on user data or information

Creates a negligence-based standard of care rather than strict liability for covered software activities

Preserves all other existing causes of action and theories of liability, including claims under the Louisiana Products Liability Act (R.S. 9:2800.51 et seq.)
