Courts may add 2 years imprisonment (with or without hard labor) to sentences for 40 specified crimes when the offender wore a mask, hood, or facial disguise with intent to conceal identity

Covered offenses against law enforcement include battery of a police officer, disarming a peace officer, aggravated assault upon a peace officer, resisting an officer, and flight from an officer

Property crimes eligible for the enhancement include aggravated arson, simple arson, looting, criminal damage to property, vandalism of critical infrastructure, and graffiti offenses

Public order offenses covered include riot, inciting to riot, obstructing highways or public passages, disturbing the peace, and terrorism

The enhancement is discretionary ("the court may") and applies in addition to any other penalty provided by law for the underlying offense
