The Family Court of East Baton Rouge Parish must provide live streaming, remote public access to all court proceedings including status conferences by January 1, 2027

Upgrade costs for the internet system to enable live streaming shall be paid from the Court Modernization and Technology Fund (R.S. 39:100.211)

In-chambers proceedings are limited to taking testimony of a minor, with parties and counsel of record present, at the judge's discretion

Courts may use a minor's initials or pseudonym in custody matters, with all parties required to use the designated identifier during proceedings

Custody hearings cannot be closed to the public unless the judge determines good cause exists based on submitted evidence AND all parties agree in writing and on the record
