Motor vehicle insurers must provide liability policy information within 30 days of receiving a written request from a third-party claimant or their attorney, including insurer name, insured names, and coverage limits

Written requests must include the specific nature of the claim and a copy of the accident report, delivered to the insurer's agent for service of process by certified mail

Disclosed information is confidential, cannot be shared with outside parties, does not waive insurer defenses or constitute an admission of liability, and is not admissible as evidence

Claimants or their attorneys must destroy all received information upon final disposition of the claim

Applies both prospectively and retroactively to all pending claims not yet resolved by settlement or judicial award at the effective date
