Creates new crime of unlawful exposure by an inmate, prohibiting inmates in correctional facilities from exposing intimate parts to employees with intent to arouse/gratify sexual desires or to intimidate/harass staff

First offense punishable by up to 3 years imprisonment (with or without hard labor) and/or fine up to $2,500

Second or subsequent conviction carries up to 5 years imprisonment and/or fine up to $25,000, with sentences running consecutively to any current sentence

Adds this offense to the list of sex offenses under R.S. 15:541, triggering sex offender registration and notification requirements upon conviction

Applies to all correctional facilities including jails, prisons, penitentiaries, juvenile institutions, temporary holding centers, and detention facilities
