Streetcar and trolley car operators cannot be held liable for loss or damage to motor vehicle operators unless the transit operator acted intentionally or negligently

Creates a rebuttable presumption that streetcars and trolley cars are not defective in accident cases

Creates a rebuttable presumption that regional transit entities and their operators did not act negligently

Applies to streetcars, trackless street cars, and trolley cars operated by regional transit entities as defined by R.S. 48:1501(G)(2)

Enacts new section R.S. 9:2800.31 in Louisiana law
