Adds new retirement eligibility option for Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System (LASERS) members hired on or after July 1, 2006, allowing retirement at any age with 35 or more years of service

Applies to all LASERS members regardless of hire date tier, including judges, court officers, governor, lieutenant governor, and legislative officers whose employment began between January 1, 2011 and June 30, 2015, as well as those hired on or after July 1, 2015

Current law requires members to reach age 60 (for those hired 2006-2015) or age 62 (for those hired after July 1, 2015) with at least 5 years of service for unreduced retirement benefits

Any costs resulting from the change must be funded through additional employer contributions per Article X, Section 29(F) of the Louisiana Constitution

Amends R.S. 11:441(A)(2) governing LASERS retirement eligibility requirements
