Health coverage plans are prohibited from paying incentives, bonuses, or any amount beyond contracted reimbursement rates to healthcare providers with intent to encourage vaccination administration

Health coverage plans cannot deny claims for covered services or impose penalties on providers with intent to influence them to administer vaccinations

"Health coverage plan" includes hospital/health/medical expense insurance policies, HMOs, PPOs, group insurance plans, self-insurance plans, and Office of Group Benefits programs

Excludes excepted benefits, limited benefit health insurance plans, and short-term policies with terms under 12 months

Enacts new section R.S. 22:1008.1 in Louisiana insurance law
