Requires paid political advertisements containing AI-generated images or likenesses of candidates to include a disclosure stating the content was created using artificial intelligence

AI disclosure must appear in text at least as large as the smallest text in the digital material, be visually distinct, and have reasonable color contrast with the background

Increases criminal penalties for violations of political material disclosure requirements from a maximum fine of $2,000 to $10,000, with imprisonment of up to two years remaining unchanged

Exempts media entities (TV stations, newspapers, streaming providers, social networks, etc.) from disclosure requirements when they broadcast ads over which they have no input or control

Expands definition of "digital material" to include communications placed or promoted for any payment, not just fees
