Re-creates the Louisiana Department of Education and all its statutory entities effective June 30, 2026, extending its existence under the state's sunset law review process.

Changes the termination date from July 1, 2027, to July 1, 2031, providing four additional years of statutory authority.

Operations would begin terminating on July 1, 2030, with all legislative authority ceasing July 1, 2031, unless the legislature re-creates the department again before that date.

Repeals R.S. 49:191(1)(g) and enacts R.S. 49:191(3)(b) to reflect the new termination schedule.
