Department of Public Safety and Corrections must publish monthly downloadable reports on offender census at parish jails and state correctional facilities within 30 days of each month's end, in Microsoft Excel and CSV formats

Data must include breakdowns of individuals housed for other agencies including ICE, U.S. Marshals Service, parish-sentenced individuals, and pre-trial detainees

Department must publish underlying datasets for all informational dashboards covering demographics, prison population trends, supervision populations, admissions, releases, and deaths in custody, updated monthly

Each dataset must include an accompanying codebook with variable definitions, data specifications, coding values, methodology, and known limitations

Implementation deadline is October 1, 2026, with a compliance report due to legislative committees by March 31, 2027; personally identifiable information protected under state or federal law may be redacted
