Amends Article III, Section 4(E) of the Louisiana Constitution to extend the waiting period before term-limited legislators can seek reelection to the same office from one term (4 years) to 10 years

State senators who have served more than two and one-half terms in three consecutive terms would be prohibited from qualifying for Senate election for 10 years after their third consecutive term ends

State representatives who have served more than two and one-half terms in three consecutive terms would be prohibited from qualifying for House election for 10 years after their third consecutive term ends

Removes the reference to terms beginning on or after January 8, 1996 from the constitutional language

Requires two-thirds approval from each legislative house and submission to voters at the November 3, 2026 statewide election for ratification
