Eliminates parental right to request school board review of expulsion decisions when the original expulsion recommendation is reduced to a short-term or long-term suspension

Removes parental right to appeal to district court when an expulsion recommendation is reduced to a suspension

Repeals the mandatory expulsion requirement for public school students in grades 6-12 who receive a third suspension within the same school year (excluding dress code or tardiness violations)

Parents retain the 5-day window to request school board review and 10-school-day window to appeal to district court for cases that remain expulsions
