Repeals R.S. 23:1294 and R.S. 36:309(B)(2), eliminating the Workers' Compensation Advisory Council within Louisiana Works

The council being abolished consists of 17 governor-appointed members requiring Senate confirmation, including representatives from labor, business, self-insured industries, attorneys, medical associations, and the general public

Eliminates the council's statutory duty to monitor and report to the governor and legislature at least 30 days before each regular session on workers' compensation implementation and administration

Removes the council's role in reviewing and making recommendations on proposed rules affecting workers' compensation claims administration

Eliminates liability protections and subpoena immunity currently provided to council members acting within their official duties
