LA HB547

Adds a new election offense prohibiting any person from knowingly, willfully, or intentionally photographing, recording, or otherwise reproducing voter registration information contained in precinct registers

First offense carries a fine of up to $2,000 and/or imprisonment with or without hard labor for up to 2 years

Subsequent offenses carry a fine of up to $5,000 and/or imprisonment at hard labor for up to 5 years

Amends R.S. 18:1461.2(A) by adding subsection (11) to Louisiana's existing election fraud and forgery statute
