Defines "sex" in Louisiana law as an individual's biological sex (male or female) as observed or clinically certified at birth, and prohibits gender identity or other subjective terms from being used as synonyms for sex

Replaces the word "gender" with "sex" throughout Louisiana statutes in over 150 code sections spanning the Civil Code, Criminal Procedure, Children's Code, and dozens of titles in the Revised Statutes

Applies the terminology change across diverse contexts including board/commission diversity requirements, data collection and reporting, hate crime classifications, jury selection procedures, expungement forms, insurance regulations, and student records

Directs the Louisiana State Law Institute to change all remaining references from "gender" to "sex" in state law pertaining to personally identifiable information

May be cited as the "Restoring Biological Truth Act"
