Registering entities would be required to offer or accept requests for security registration in beneficiary form (transfer on death designation), changing current law which makes this optional

Amends R.S. 9:1711.6(A) to replace "is not required to" with "shall" regarding beneficiary form registration

Owners requesting beneficiary form registration continue to assent to statutory protections given to the registering entity

Removes conditional language that previously only applied owner assent requirements when a registering entity chose to offer beneficiary registration
