Public bodies with teleconference/video conference capability must adopt rules allowing parents or legal guardians of children under age 5 and early childhood service providers to participate remotely in meetings upon request

Public bodies without such capability must establish viable alternative participation methods for these individuals

Public bodies that primarily focus on issues related to families with children under age 5 may conduct unlimited successive meetings via electronic means, similar to existing exceptions for disability-focused and military family bodies

Members of public bodies who are parents/legal guardians of children under age 5 or early childhood service providers may participate and vote in meetings via electronic means, expanding existing accommodations for members with ADA-recognized disabilities

Amends R.S. 42:14(E)(1) and (2), 17.2(F)(2), and 17.2.1(A) of Louisiana's Open Meetings Law
