Re-creates the Department of Environmental Quality and all statutory entities within it effective June 30, 2026, under Louisiana's sunset law review process

Sets the new termination date for the department's statutory authority as July 1, 2031, with termination of operations beginning July 1, 2030

Allows the department to be re-created again prior to the 2031 termination date through subsequent legislative action

Repeals the current sunset provision (R.S. 49:191(1)(j)) and enacts a new provision (R.S. 49:191(3)(b)) to reflect the updated timeline

Supersedes standard sunset law procedures that would otherwise require separate re-creation bills for each statutory entity within the department
