Businesses must maintain records of consumer consent for at least 3 years from acceptance or 1 year after contract termination, whichever is longer

Violations subject to mandatory consumer restitution, civil penalties up to $500 per violation set by the attorney general, and enforcement under Louisiana's Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law
