LA HB825

Eliminates the requirement for the Commissioner of Insurance to distribute informational materials about stated value homeowner's policies to homeowners at least once every two years via direct mail, email, or other means.

Retains the requirement for the commissioner to maintain a dedicated section on the Department of Insurance website where consumers can access informational materials about risks associated with stated value policies.

Amends R.S. 22:1346.5(B)(1) of the Stated Value Homeowner's Policy Act.
