Eliminates the mandatory vehicle inspection sticker requirement for most motor vehicles, low-speed vehicles, trailers, semitrailers, and pole trailers registered in Louisiana

Retains inspection requirements only for commercial motor vehicles (under 49 CFR Part 396) and student transportation vehicles (under LAC 28:CXIII.701(A)(3)), which must still obtain certificates at least once every other year

Maintains the $30 annual inspection fee for commercial vehicles ($23.75 to inspection station, $4 to state police, $2.25 to OMV) and $20 fee for student transportation vehicles ($14.75 to inspection station, $4 to state police, $1.25 to OMV)

Preserves emissions inspection requirements for vehicles registered in parishes subject to the federal Clean Air Act, with an $8 fee ($6 to inspection station, $2 to Department of Environmental Quality)

Repeals R.S. 32:1303 (inspection sticker requirement for assembled vehicles) and R.S. 32:707.5(D)(3)
