Public entities may use fillable electronic bid forms to receive bids through electronic bidding platforms, provided the forms include all text and input fields from the Louisiana Uniform Bid Form.

Public entities are prohibited from adding bidder requirements or input fields to fillable electronic bid forms that are not contained in the Louisiana Uniform Bid Form.

Formatting deviations in a fillable electronic bid form from the standard Louisiana Uniform Bid Form do not constitute a violation of the law.

Amends R.S. 38:2212(B)(2) governing advertisement and letting of public work contracts to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
