Amends R.S. 9:4752 to require healthcare providers, hospitals, and ambulance services to pay up to 20% of litigation costs as ordered by the court when collecting on medical liens

Retains existing law allowing healthcare providers, hospitals, and ambulance services to place a privilege (lien) on settlement or judgment proceeds for reasonable charges for services provided to injured persons

Maintains that attorney privileges take precedence over medical provider liens on recovery amounts

Makes technical change updating terminology from "health care" to "healthcare" throughout the statute
