Increases the minimum signature requirement for presidential nominee nominating petitions from 1,000 to 2,500 registered voters affiliated with the party

Requires at least 250 signatures from each congressional district, replacing the previous requirement of signatures from each district without a specific minimum per district

Expands voter information requirements on nominating petitions from just name and residence address to all information required by R.S. 18:3

Prohibits voters from withdrawing their nomination once they have signed a nominating petition

Retains the alternative qualifying option of paying a $1,000 fee instead of gathering petition signatures
