Contractors and subcontractors of the Louisiana Pregnancy and Baby Care Initiative cannot qualify for state grants if they require clients to attend classes, watch videos with religious instruction, or attend religious services as a condition of receiving services or products

The Department of Children and Family Services must investigate complaints alleging violations, provide written confirmation and status updates to complainants, and notify the accused contractor

Violations may result in ineligibility, suspension, termination, or nonrenewal of contracts, grants, or cooperative endeavor agreements with the department

Noncompliant contractors are prohibited from applying for any state funding for 90 days following the last instance of noncompliance

DCFS must provide written notice to all interested parties within 90 days of any enforcement action taken
