Expands TOPS eligibility for students who complete undergraduate degrees in fewer than 8 semesters to use remaining award benefits at certain nonpublic postsecondary institutions for graduate study

Qualifying institutions must offer a graduate program in medical sciences and not be members of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities

Eligible institutions must have been physically collocated with a Louisiana public postsecondary institution since 2020 and bill tuition through that public institution

Students must continue meeting academic and other TOPS requirements, modified as necessary for postgraduate study

Effective upon signature by the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action
