Louisiana Department of Justice requested to compile and publish an annual report on outcomes for juveniles subject to electronic monitoring conditions, with data anonymized to protect juvenile identities per Children's Code Article 412

Report must include: total number of juveniles on electronic monitoring by judicial district, average monitoring duration, violation rates versus new criminal adjudications, demographic data (age, race, gender), and program completion success rates compared to traditional detention or standard probation

Department of Justice must collaborate with the Office of Juvenile Justice and each district attorney to ensure data accuracy

Initial report due to House Committee on Administration of Criminal Justice and Senate Committee on Judiciary C no later than 30 days before the 2027 Regular Session, with subsequent annual reports due by March 1st each year

Copies of all reports must be submitted to the David R. Poynter Legislative Research Library per R.S. 24:772
