Removes the requirement that photo enforcement warning signs be "bright yellow" while maintaining the 48"x48" size and "Photo enforcement devices at use" text requirements

Replaces specific state pavement marking requirements (two-foot-wide yellow stripes with 12-inch white lettering) for school zones with compliance to the federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)

Adds a clarification that nothing in the law requires traffic control devices or pavement markings inconsistent with or not authorized by the MUTCD

Repeals the exemption that allowed municipalities with populations between 15,000-16,000 in parishes with populations between 70,000-90,000 to use automated speed enforcement on interstate highways

Effective August 1, 2026
