Creates a new Office of Health and Nutrition within the Louisiana Department of Health, to be led by an executive director reporting directly to the secretary

Transfers oversight of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, WIC (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children), and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) from the Office of Public Health to the new office

Assigns the new office responsibility for developing policy for SNAP implementation within the department and coordinating initiatives on health and nutrition, health care access, and preventive health services

Places the new office under direct supervision of the LDH secretary, similar to the executive office of the secretary, rather than under an assistant secretary like other department offices

Authorizes the department to transfer existing funding and positions internally to establish and implement the new office, effective upon the governor's signature
